What We Provide and What Every Client Deserves - is representation by an experienced,
highly skilled and knowledgeable attorney, who will give your matters their personal attention and
the highest priority, who will be extremely responsive and personally accessible to you, and who
possesses the level of knowledge, experience, skills and judgment necessary to effectively promote
your legal, business and personal interests, while protecting your rights. We believe that each and
every client who brings their legal matters to us deserves the personal attention of a highly skilled and
experienced attorney, as opposed to a junior attorney, paralegal, or legal assistant, like you might get at other
law firms, who simply don’t possess the same level of knowledge, experience, skills and judgment.
Our Fees – - – Are Reasonable - At the same time, we endeavor to provide our services at reasonable
rates and in a cost-conscious and cost-effective manner, and we believe we can provide these high
quality services at rates that are significantly less than what you could expect to pay for a similarly experienced
attorney at a larger firm. One advantage we have is that we don’t have the same high overhead costs (not to
mention large senior partner salaries) as larger law firms, so we are able to charge lower rates and pass these
savings on to our clients.
How We Represent CLIENTS And Our Emphasis On Accessibility and
communication - We provide zealous representation of our clients and will work diligently to promote your
legal and businesses interests and protect your rights. We also believe that accessibility and communication are
key factors in providing the best services to our clients. Therefore, one of our main objectives is to make sure
that clients have easy access to their attorney throughout the time that we are representing and providing
services to them.

counselling in many areas of the law and representing a variety of clients in literally hundreds of transactions and
legal matters, ranging from fairly routine matters to sophisticated and complex multi-million dollar Business,
Commercial Real Estate and Commercial Finance Transactions. Thus, although we are not a large firm, we still
have the ability to handle large and complex matters and transactions, because we have the same high level of
experience and sophistication that you might only expect to find at a large law firm (and without charging big firm
rates).

Disputes and dispute resolution
Unfortunately, disagreements and disputes are a part of life, whether they occur in a Business, Consumer or a
Personal context. It is equally unfortunate that many disagreements and disputes can become major distractions
and disruptions to our business and personal endeavors and can end up taking a considerable amount of time,
trouble and expense to resolve. However, we believe that many of these costs can be greatly reduced if one or
more of the parties are represented by a competent attorney who is experienced in resolving disputes, and also
a creative problem solver, because sometimes solutions can be found that are not initially or easily apparent to
the parties themselves. We have a good deal of experience representing Businesses, Business Owners,
Individuals and other parties in a broad range of disputes and believe that we are skilled in finding solutions that
are in the best interests of our clients, while hopefully keeping the time, trouble and monetary costs to a minimum.
We also have experience with Alternative Dispute Resolution processes such as Mediation and Arbitration, which
can often expedite solutions to disputes that would probably take much longer and be more costly to resolve
through the traditional Litigation process.
In sum, we are confident that we can help you resolve your dispute, be it of a Commercial, Consumer or Personal
nature, in a more satisfactory and cost effective way than might otherwise be the case. We also specialise in shareholder rights, and can offer ways to resolve disputes between shareholders and companies.
As is the case with all of our services and Practice Areas, our mission is to provide our clients with high quality
legal services and effective representation by an experienced, highly skilled and knowledgeable
attorney, who will be extremely responsive and accessible to you, who will give your matters
personal attention and the highest priority, and who possesses the level of knowledge, experience,
skills and judgment necessary to effectively promote your legal, business and personal interests,
while protecting your rights. At the same time, we endeavor to provide these services at reasonable rates
and in a cost-conscious, cost-effective and service-oriented manner.
Wills and Power of Attorney
We recognize that in today’s world it is possible for non-lawyers to create certain types of
legal documents themselves by using various “self-serve” and “one size fits all” websites and forms. However,
we feel that in many cases it is still preferable to use a qualified attorney to prepare legal documents. A qualified
attorney can help ensure that the appropriate documents are properly drafted and filed correctly, as well as
explain and answer questions about the content and implications of the documentation. Thus, we believe that
enlisting the help of a competent attorney can prove to be a very worthwhile investment given the importance of
these matters and the peace of mind you will have if you involve an attorney rather than trying to do things on
your own.
However, we also believe that an attorney should be able to perform these services at affordable rates.
Therefore, we strive to perform these services at a reasonable cost that is not prohibitively more expensive
than “self-serve” and “one size fits all” websites and forms
We can prepare a new Will or review and update an existing Will for you and/or other members of your
family. We will explain the Will preparation and signing process in simple terms and go over the contents of the
Will with you, so that you will actually understand what it says and we can answer questions that you may have.
For the same reasons, we feel it is
advisable to have an attorney involved in the preparation of other types of personal legal documents. Again, we
believe that using an attorney is a very worthwhile investment given the importance of these matters and the
peace of mind you will have if you involve an attorney rather than trying to do everything yourself. We can
explain the document preparation and signing process in simple terms and go over the contents of the document
or documents with you so that you will understand the purpose and meaning of the language that is used, and
answer questions that you may have.
Keurig coffee makers – best invention ever?
The votes are in, and we have finally decided on the best business in 2011: The great coffee brewers over Keurig in Vermont, US. The brand is most famous for its coffee makers, however it also recently released tea and hot chocolate individualized cheap K cups for those of us who may want to consume a little less caffeine on a daily basis.
Did you know the word Keurig means ‘excellence’ in Dutch? Most likely not, but knowing how Keurig runs its business it is no surprise that the word excellence is what their business revolves around. The Keurig coffee maker is made with the highest quality of materials and is one of the best-selling products available on the market today. Additionally the Keurig brand focuses on excellence in customer service and satisfaction. What’s not to love?
One of the reasons Keurig tops the list this year of being the best business in 2011 is that it was made by people who actually use– and love– their product. They are entrepreneurs and business-oriented minds second to being coffee drinkers and coffee lovers. Because the people over at Keurig are essentially their own customer, they always have the consumers’ best interests in mind, instead of the business. You can really feel this enthusiasm for improving the product emanating from the company and its people. The fact that Keurig keeps adding more models to their already-extensive line of coffee makers just shows they are always working on making their product better.
The mission statement that drives this corporation is the notion of bringing the local coffee house home. Why brew several cups of coffee when you really only need one? This focus on the individual is inherent, and causes the coffee drinker to experience consistent quality of coffee on a daily basis from the comfort of their own home.
The last thing that really tipped Keurig over the edge for us is the fact that the company prides itself on being as organic and fair trade as possible. This is truly commendable, especially in this day and age. Their focus on the environment, natural resources, and labor rights is extremely admirable and downright rare in the food industry.
If you haven’t experienced a cup of Keurig coffee yet, do yourself a favor and try one soon. The assortment of flavors in their cheap K cups means you are basically guaranteed to find one– if not a few different kinds– that you absolutely love. If the taste alone is not enough to keep you as a customer, let me remind you of the convenience of having a personalized freshly brewed cup of coffee in your hands after a waiting time less than a minute long. How many ordinary coffee machines can do that?
Finally, if the taste and convenience still don’t persuade you to be a Keurig convert, think about all the good you are doing by supporting their company. We wouldn’t have chosen them as the best business in 2011 for nothing. The word excellence really means something to Keurig, and it shows in every aspect of their work.
Where would we be without computer monitors?

Remember when they looked like this?
Let’s talk about computer monitors for a second. I know it’s a boring subject for many, but if you are a technological fiend like me then you’ll be more than excited to spend this time with me talking about display sizes, resolutions and different display technologies.
If you’re the type of person who sits on CNET looking up all of the new tech specs on the Sony monitors or Dell monitors, then you’re my kind of person. You understand just how important an invention computer monitors really are. Without the ingenuity of tech startups like Apple and the research team at Xerox, we may still have the monitor – but it would be much less developed than it is today. It’s important to realize that the ability to interface with a computer was the spark that lit the technological bonfire that has been raging since the early 1990s.
Without computer monitors, there would be no Amazon. There would be no Facebook. There would be no Microsoft Windows 95 – or Windows 7. The ability for us to actually see what’s going on with our personal computers was as big a revolution as flight, the landing on the moon, and even the automotive revolution.
If you doubt that claim, just take a look at how many times you have Skyped a relative or Tweeted your favorite recipe, only to have a dear friend let you know you used too much salt. Our lives have been forever changed by the internet – but remember, the internet doesn’t exist without the ability to see it. This is something that people constantly forget when it comes to computing technology and innovation.
We have come a long way in computer monitor technology as well. From CRT to LCD to Plasma to 3d, there have been so many millions of tiny improvements over time that the computer monitors of today are virtually unrecognizable from the first monitors that ever existed. If you don’t believe me, just go watch “Pirates of Silicon Valley” and check out the monitor that Steve Wozniak attached to the Apple II. Then, go to Dell and check out their 3007-WFP 30” monitor. The difference is like night and day. One is a wood-bound miniature TV that displays black and white. The other is a thirty inch beast that is extremely thin and displays billions of colors simultaneously.

Now they look like this....
The entire gaming industry would be nowhere without monitors. It allowed rapid development in computer graphics and contributed to the entertainment of millions of children and adults. I myself am a child of the video game playing 1990s and I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity to entertain myself in this way. It was such an amazing period of my life to be able to play these fantastical games and imagine myself in similar scenarios. The ability to see all of this on a moving screen of color and light was something that I will never forget as long as I live. I still game quite a bit and have managed to snag one of the best computer monitors on the market to support my gaming habit.
5 Ways To save Money On Auto Insurance
Let’s face it – auto insurance is a life-essential thing to have unless you don’t own a car. Not only is it illegal to drive without insurance, not many people could take the financial hit of having to replace a stolen car out of pocket nor could they pay the massive repair bill in the unfortunate situation of wrecking their car.

Pay less when this happens.
So if we all have to have it, how can we save money and pay less for our insurance premiums? There are a number of ways so lets look at 5 simple things you can do to drastically reduce how much money you have to send to your insurance company every month.
Number one: This is the best way to ensure you always have cheaper insurance. In fact following this one tip will continue to reduce how much you pay into the future. Simply drive more responsibly! Be a safe driver, don’t speed and avoid accidents. The more accidents and speeding fines you get the more you pay for insurance – it is really that simple.
Number two: Choose a safer car. Insurance companies will insure you for cheaper rates if your car features all the safety devices like dual air bags, ABS braking, anti-skid technology etc. This way not only are you saving money but also giving yourself the peace of mind that if the worst happens you will be better protected.
Number three: Always shop around. Never just call up one company and accept the price they quote you over the phone. These days with the internet you can compare literally 100s of insurance providers by getting cheap auto insurance quotes and choosing the one that offers you the best value for money.
Number four: Unfortunately this one is the conservative option but it really will save you money: dont drive a sports car. Any time an insurance company sees that you drive a powerful sports car they assume that statistically speaking it is more likely to be driver recklessly and get into more accidents. Also new sports cars are attractive targets for car thieves – this adds up to a double-whammy of reasons for the insurance company charging you an absolute fortune!
Number Five: Not a lot of people are aware of this one but did you know that if your car is brightly colored you could actually be charged more for your auto insurance? The reasoning is that potential thieves are more attracted to the cars that stand out in bright colors such as red so are more likely to be stolen. Boring old white may not be the most stylish choice but if it saves you money on insurance and also stays cooler in the summer then perhaps it is really worth considering next time you buy a car?
So there you have it. Some of you may be thinking “Great so I need to drive a boring white Volvo to save money.” Well yes and no – these tips are always a trade off between practicality and saving money on insurance, what you do about it is entirely up to you. The fact remains that serious savings can be had if you are just a little smarter about what and how you drive.
Mesothelioma Lawyers
Many people think that lawyers are all a bunch of blood sucking vampires that are only looking out for themselves and their big fat paydays. While this may be true of a majority of lawyers out there, there are definitely groups of lawyers that make it their career to fight the good fight and stand up for the average person.

Diagnosed with Mesothelioma? Speak to a lawyer.
Mesothelioma lawyers are one of these groups. They have made a career out of battling big business and government regulatory agencies to protect those who come to them for help. Mesothelioma is a rare lung cancer that is almost always caused by the continuous inhalation of very small microfibers of a substance called asbestos. Asbestos was used until 2003 in a multitude of different applications from manufacturing to shipbuilding and insulation. The most common application we still see today is in the insulation of old homes. Homes build decades ago may still have asbestos in their attics and walls because the safety regulations weren’t in place to protect the homeowner yet.

Mesothelioma Cancer
If they weren’t in place to protect homeowners you better believe they weren’t in place to protect those who built the homes. There are millions of people who were employed as homebuilders, insulators or shipmen who were exposed to this substance on a daily basis. The daily exposure is what is the real problem with asbestos, because in a one time exposure situation your risk is really limited and you’re unlikely to develop cancer. With daily exposure you circumvent your body’s ability to deal with the particles and overload your cells, damaging them and causing mutations that can result in this specific type of cancer.
Mesothelioma lawyers exist for this reason. They know the laws intimately because this is the only type of case that they take. They have dedicated themselves to the study of contract law as it pertains to health regulations in the workplace and can quickly determine if you have a legitimate case for being awarded damages for the time you were employed in a dangerous situation. Thankfully they are fighting the good fight and protecting people like you and me because without them I don’t doubt that we wouldn’t have known about the dangers of asbestos for decades to come. There simply wasn’t enough profit involved in telling the general public as long as the amount of people that died from the disease was “low enough.”
That’s one of the problems with our big boom in production and manufacturing in America. As long as people kept buying the stuff, companies wanted to keep making it – no matter what the cost. The money flowed in and they got used to it, so when threats to human health and safely began to get in the way of their profit, they decided that sweeping it under the rug was the sensible choice. Unfortunately for them they didn’t bet on mesothelioma lawyers to expose their corruption for what it was and make them pay the money they owed to honest, hardworking people.
Investment decisions – are Penny Stocks worthwhile?

Sleeping well and eating the right protein could just change your life
Let me ask you this: how many hours of sleep are you getting every night? If you answered me without giving me a number that’s at least accurate to the half hour, you’re dropping the ball.
Let me ask you another question: what did you eat for breakfast the last three days? If you can’t answer for every single day, you’re dropping the ball.
How can you say you’re trying to get in shape when you’re not tracking, measuring and seeking to optimize all of this? It’s a matter of being fully committed or not. Are you fully committed? If you are, read on and I’ll show you how you should get back on track with your diet and start tracking the amount of time that you sleep.
First, sleep. For those of you trying to build muscle, you need to be getting at least eight hours of sleep a day. Your body is building that muscle you so desperately want for yourself at night, so cutting your sleep short when you want to get in shape is basically telling me that you don’t actually want to get in shape. Quit it! You need to keep a sleep journal where you write down what time you hopped into bed, and then immediately upon waking up you need to write down that time as well. Track it in Microsoft Excel or some program like that and you’ll be able to graph your progress over time.

Smile - you are building muscle while you sleep.
Ok, on to diet. Arguably the most important piece of the puzzle. If I had to choose, I’d say that diet beats everything else, and sleep is a close second. Surprisingly, working out comes last! That’s the easiest one for people to do – these other two are a bit more challenging for most people.
You need to make sure you’re at the right amount of calories per day. If you’re off on the high side, you know that you’re probably snacking on things that you don’t need to be snacking on. If you’re too low, your body isn’t going to have the fuel it needs to create new muscle tissue and make you stronger. This is where getting a good protein supplement comes in.
Sure, you could buy Hydrowhey or Isoflex and just dump it into water, but why not make it taste better so you’re more likely to stick to downing your protein? Try this: use some skim milk, and then blend in a banana post workout for those simple carbs that your body needs to restore your glycogen levels. Maybe add a tiny bit of almond butter just to fatten it out a bit, and then dump a heap of ice inside. Blend that up, drink it down and you just crushed your postworkout meal. It takes about 4-5 minutes to make, it tastes like a smoothie, and it’s the proper nutrition you need after a grueling session in the gym. Believe me, taking this advice is going to skyrocket your progress towards fitness goals. Good luck!
Internet scams – know your rights and how to protect yourself online.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is increasingly investing its resources in battling the digital frontier. The internet is becoming more and more popular as a way to defraud and scam people out of their hard earned money, funneling it into the accounts of those who have devoted their lives to being a menace to society.
There are too many ways to get scammed online to cover in one article, but I will cover one important one: online auction fraud. Sites like eBay and Craigslist are great ways to offload extra possessions in order to make a little cash, or even to start your own internet business. Unfortunately, they are also a breeding ground for scammers and those looking to steal your money with their scam.
When browsing an auction site, you need to be very knowledgeable about how the entire process works. There is no reason that you shouldn’t know everything there is to know about how an eBay auction works, so you are able to notice when something seems out of place. You need to try to deal with people that sell items only in your home country instead of abroad, especially when the seller is in a known scamming country like Russia or countries in Eastern Europe.
One of the easiest ways to get scammed is when you go to pay. You have to make sure that the site you are logging into to pay (say PayPal for example) is actually the correct URL. There are very sophisticated designers that can trick people into thinking they are on PayPal when in fact they have created an identical clone of the website. When you log in, your username and password are sent to the scammer and they instantly have all of your information on file, ready to use and abuse at their will. The best way to make sure is to look at the URL in the address bar and make sure it is exactly the same one as PayPal or whatever other payment processor you end up using.
Before you pay, you can eliminate a lot of potential scams just simply by understanding a bit more about who is selling the product. Almost every online auction site has a feedback score for all sellers, and it’s advised by many experienced buyers not to even deal with people who have a feedback score of less than 100%. This means that you are sure that everyone who has ever dealt with this seller in the past has been satisfied with his services – even if there were problems along the way. It’s not uncommon to buy from a newer seller, only to find that you have been defrauded of your money and they are nowhere to be found. Usually they will delete their account, pocket the money, and repeat the process later on down the road.
Using these tips should provide you with a good degree of safety when dealing with online auction scams. Good luck with your purchases!
